Understanding payment statuses: pending, paid, overdue, and failed.
The Payments page shows you the status of every charge across all your properties. Here's what each status means.
Payment statuses
- Pending — charge has been created but the tenant hasn't paid yet. Due date hasn't passed.
- Overdue — due date has passed and the tenant still hasn't paid. If late fees are configured, they'll apply automatically after the grace period.
- Paid — tenant has paid the full amount. Money is being processed through Stripe.
- Processing — payment is being processed by Stripe. Typically takes 2-3 business days.
- Failed — payment attempt was declined or failed. The tenant will need to try again.
